If you receive an email that appears suspicious, unexpected, or asks for sensitive information, you should report it using the Phish Alert button.
Reporting suspicious emails helps protect all county employees.

Troubleshooting / Steps
To Report a Suspicious Email:
- Click the suspicious email to highlight it.
- Select the Phish Alert button in the Outlook toolbar.
- Confirm the submission.
The email will be sent securely to IT for review.
What Happens Next?
- The email is analyzed.
- You may receive an automated response confirming whether it was malicious or safe.
- Reporting will not get you in trouble — even if the email turns out to be legitimate.
Additional Information
If you accidentally clicked a suspicious link or entered your credentials, contact IT immediately.
